Most “contractors” in Bali assemble a different set of daily workers for every job. We went the opposite way: one permanent crew — plasterers, painters, a gypsum specialist and a foreman — trained on our standards and paid to care about the result.
- Straightedge rule: walls flat to 2–3 mm over 2 metres, checked before paint, not after complaints.
- Curing discipline: render rests 10–14 days before skim. That’s why our paint doesn’t spider-crack in February.

How much does wall plastering cost in Bali?
Cement render with acian skim starts from IDR 160,000/m² including labour and standard materials; skim coating over existing plaster from IDR 75,000/m². How long does it take to plaster and paint a 100 m² villa?
A typical 100 m² villa interior takes our crew 3–4 weeks: 7–10 days of render and skim, 10–14 days of curing time depending on season, then 4–6 days of putty, sanding and two coats of paint. We give you a written schedule before we start — rushing the curing is how walls end up cracking.
Which areas of Bali do you cover?

Can I plaster or skim the walls myself?
Small patches — yes, and we explain how honestly. Full walls are harder than videos make it look: acian sets fast in Bali heat and every wave shows at sunset. What materials do you work with?
Mortar Utama and Drymix renders, A-Plus and Nippon skim coats, Dulux, Jotun and Nippon paint systems, plus imported lime and Venetian plasters for decorative work. If your architect specifies a brand, we price exactly that — the quote always names the materials line by line.
Do you give a warranty on plastering and painting?
Yes — 24 months on workmanship. If a crack opens or paint peels because of our work, we come back and fix it free. That is only possible because we control curing times and never skip primer, which is also why we won’t quote a “finish in 3 days” job.
How do I book a free site visit?

Is it too late to repaint a facade before the rainy season?
Not yet — August through October is exactly the right window. A facade repaint needs the walls surveyed, washed and repaired before the first coat goes on, so the earlier the site visit happens, the calmer the schedule. What we avoid is promising exterior work in December: paint applied between showers onto damp render fails early, and the warranty matters more to us than one extra booking.
Can you plaster and paint interiors during the rainy season?
Yes — interiors are our standard wet-season work. Higher humidity slows curing, so we plan longer gaps between render, skim and paint and keep rooms ventilated, but the finished result is identical to a dry-season job. If your build reaches the finishing stage in January, that is not a problem — it just needs an honest schedule.
Do you restore and polish terrazzo floors?
Yes — terrazzo floor restoration is its own trade: diamond grinding, crack fill, re-polish and seal (what local crews call jasa poles terrazzo). We also cast new terrazzo floors — jasa lantai terrazzo — and quote a clear terrazzo flooring contractor price per m² after seeing the slab.
What determines the plastering price per sqm?
Plastering price per sqm in Bali follows surface and finish: standard plester aci on block walls is the baseline, skim-coat smoothing adds a step, and microcement finishing (jasa finishing dinding microcement) sits at the top. Borongan rates per metre are fixed in the quote, so the harga borongan plester aci per meter you approve is the one you pay.
How do I maintain terrazzo in Bali humidity?
To maintain terrazzo tiles in Bali humidity: neutral-pH cleaner, no acid, and a penetrating sealer renewed every two to three years. Humidity itself does not harm terrazzo — acid etching and worn sealer do. A yearly light polish keeps the shine without full restoration.
Wet-season prep
Preparing walls for the 2026 rainy season
Every August we walk villas whose owners are asking the same question: will the walls be ready before the rain? Fresh render and skim need dry air to cure at full strength, exterior paint needs a dry substrate to bond, and limewash wants stable weather while it carbonates. From now until late October, those conditions come free with the climate.
From November on, exterior finishing becomes a race between showers. Painting over damp render locks moisture in — that is where blisters, efflorescence and the grey mould shadows on white walls come from. Interior skim and paint carry on happily through the wet months; it is the facades, boundary walls and anything under open sky that must be sequenced now.
If your facade needs re-rendering, repainting or a limewash refresh before the holidays, this is the booking window. Exterior slots through October are filling; interior finishing we can schedule deep into the rainy season without risk.
